For the first time in Italy the Quaestor of Macerata, Antonio Pignataro, issued a one-year ruling by Daspo against a race director. The facts date back to 1st February, when the match between Borgo Mogliano and Montottone was played in Mogliano, in the province of Macerata, valid for the second category championship. Once the match ended with the result of 3-1 for the hosts, at the exit from the locker rooms the referee Antonio Martiniello during a discussion had hit with a header on the face the goalkeeper of the Borgo Mogliano Matteo Ciccioli, sent off during the meeting. Ciccioli had been taken to the Macerata hospital and then discharged with a 15-day prognosis.
